Anyone see it yet? If not, go go go. However I would skip the 3D version, it's too intense.

I've seen many of the recent 3D movies and this was the only one that gave me trouble. After only 30 minutes in my eyes were straining and fatigued. Almost 3 hours later my head hurt and I felt like my eyes just finished doing thousands of push ups.

Badass movie btw. I will be buying this on bluray for sure.

I just got back from this movie. I wanted to hate it. I expected a contrived Dances With Wolves story with aliens instead of Indians. I went in with low expectations because I expected it to be over-hyped, over budget, and over-rated. Turns out I was wrong. It was fun as hell. I definitely plan on buying it. Also, beautiful special effects.

Well, the story is well tread. But there are no new ideas, just new ways to present the old ones, so I'm not going to mark it down for that. Nothing wrong with a going native story. I should have known better to doubt James Cameron. After all, he did Aliens and even Terminator. I hear that this movie is pretty much a tech demo for a series he wants to make called Battle Angel Alita. Yet, it's rumored that he has the scripts for two sequels already set to go. Also, it's a fun, pretty, and exciting tech demo.

Games I Play: Bad Company 2
avatar is out on dvd today gonna go buy it. I saw this movie in IMAX 3d it was probably the single best movie going experience of my life. Absolutely amazing in imax 3d. I heard they are putting 6 more minutes of footage in and going to re-release it in theaters in august since it did so well. Kinda greedy but it will prob still sell movie tickets just for people to be able to have the chance to see it in 3d or imax 3d again.
